Compost worms

For a while now, each time I open the lid of the compost bin to pour in the latest vegetable trimmings, the bin is overflowing with worms.  They collect inside the bin lid, so when I lift it off hundreds of them drop down onto the compost, or often around the outside of the compost bin.  Is there such a thing as too many worms? Crusty White Loaf

Used up the last of the very fine strong white flour we brought back from France late last year, just to see if there was a difference in the texture of bread made with it.  It seems finer than the strong white flour we get in this country, although I don’t think it is the same flour that is used to make baguettes.
