For a while now, each time I open the lid of the compost bin to pour in the latest vegetable trimmings, the bin is overflowing with worms. They collect inside the bin lid, so when I lift it off hundreds of them drop down onto the compost, or often around the outside of the compost bin. Is there such a thing as too many worms? Not according to a forum post on the Grow your Own website.
